KHAIRPUR  - More than 40 workers of PML-F including Dr. Aijaz Jumani, Ehsan Jumani, Irfan Phulpoto, Aijaz Bhayo, Zafar Jumani, Muhammad Haneef  Bhayo, Ashfaq Phulpoto, Qurban Shah, Hamid Shaikh, Imran Ali, Khadim Bhayo, JavedShaikh, Muhammad Yousuf, Wadero Ghous Bux Narejo,Saddam Jumani, Sheeraz Phulpoto,Shahid Phulpoto, Shafqat Phulpoto and others resigned from PML-F and met PPP MNA Nafessa Shah at Jillani House and announced to join PPP. Addressing a Press conference, MNA Nafeesa Shah stated that PPP is public party which has the programme for the masses and  important figures of Khairpur are joining the PPP. She said that Local Bodies PPP will win with majority. On the the occasion PPP leaders Yar Muhammad Phulpoto, Amjad Shah, Lal Bux Mangi and others also addressed the Press conference.
FESTIVAL TOMORROW: Bhittai Social Watch & Advocacy (BSWA) in collaboration with Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur and Inter University Consortium for the Promotion of Social Sciences Art and Humanities (IUCPSS) is organising a national level peace and harmony festival on December 31, 2013 at Shah Abdul Latif University Khairpur.
The inauguration session will be presided over by Professor Dr. Parveen Shah the Vice Chancellor of the University whereas; the chief guest will be Secretary of Human Rights of Pakistan (HRCP) I.A Rehman.
The other programmes will be included as stall on information and material on handicrafts, peace conference, book fair on “My Book My Friend”, drawing competition on the topic ban on weapons, documentary on the topic of tribal conflicts, speech competitions among students of universities and colleges, tableaus and peace songs competition among the students of secondary and higher secondary schools and interactive theater on peace issues. The certificates, prizes and awards will also be distributed among the successful students, and social workers as well as peace promoters of Sindh Amun Forum.
A theater on the life and achievements of Baghat Kanwar Ram will also be presented in the evening.
Renowned Sufi singers Jamal Din Faqir, Zulfiqar Ali, Hanif Lashari and Ayaz Mallah will present sufi songs. while renowned personalities like, MPA Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, social and political personality Syed Javed Shah Jillani, Nafesa Shah (MNA), Niaz Ali Abbasi Commissioner Sukkur division, Karamat Ali Director PILER, Adam Malik famous social activist, Murtaza Noor focal person HEC, Prof. Dr. Yousuf Khushk focal person of IUCPSS, and notables, personalities will also present their papers & messages related to peace, tolerance and brotherhood at the event.
