NEW DELHI- Pakistan’s envoy to India Abdul Basit today emphasized on finding a solution for Kashmir issue.

Talking to journalists in New Delhi, he said that Pakistan desired peaceful solution to all issues including Kashmir. He said that Pakistan was itself a victim of militancy since 9/11. Pakistan and India need to work together for settlement of all issues, he added.

The envoy said that Kashmiris being the main party should be invited for talks. He said both countries need to move forward, adding that Pakistan was still adamant on its promise for better ties with India.
