ISLAMABAD - The federal government on Monday handed over services of Press Secretary of Prime Minister Mohiyuddin Wani to the Punjab government, besides transferring and posting four other senior bureaucrats working in the federal capital.  

According to the notification issued by the Establishment Division, Zafar Abbas (grade-19) belonging to the secretariat group has been appointed as the joint secretary in the ministry of water and power while Deputy Secretary Finance Muhammad Afzal Chaudhry has been transferred to the cabinet division.

Sohail Akbar Shah (grade-21) also belonging to the secretariat group has been made officer on special duty (OSD). The services of Mubashir Riaz Malik (grade-18) and Captain (Retd) Ali Raza (grade-18) have been given to the Punjab government.

Alia Shahid, the joint secretary at the ministry of Kashmir affairs, has been transferred to Export Processing Zone Karachi while the services of Amir Ahmad, who is currently working in the customs, have been given to WAPDA.

OUTGOING PUNJAB CS CALLS ON PM: Outgoing Chief Secretary Punjab Naveed Akram Monday paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif at the PM House on Monday.

During the meeting, the Prime Minister appreciated the services rendered by the chief secretary during his career and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
