LAHORE - After Azhar Ali, M Hafeez and M Aamir controversy, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to handle players on legal grounds. For this purpose, an additional clause has been added in central contact of the national players. According to new clause, on issuing controversial statements, the players will have to pay final of Rs. 2 million. The players having central contracts will not be allowed to comment on selection policy of the PCB.

The sources claimed that the players have signed on this new clause except Azhar Ali and M Hafeez, who had reservations on the induction of M Aami in the training camp but after meeting with PCB chairman Shaharyar M Khan, the issue was resolved and both the players have started participating in the camp. “Although the issue was resolved but it’s not permenenat solution and the PCB should adopt a proper policy and legal way to avoid such issues in future,” the sources added.
