Girl’s body found in park

Islamabad-Koral police have recovered the dead body of an unidentified young girl from a park in the area of Koral police station.

According to the police, the body of a 25 year old girl, whose head bore a wound, was thrown in the park near the KRL. The cause of the death, however, would be ascertained after the post mortem.

The police officials said that they have taken finger prints of the girl to send it to NADRA for identification and sent the dead body to the mortuary. The police are investigating the matter.

Meanwhile, heirs of the deceased whose graves were shifted by the management of Ghauri Town to other places staged a protest demonstration in front of the chief commissioner office against the management. They alleged that the management of the housing society illegally removed the graves and occupied the land in the limits of Koral police station to build high-rise buildings there.

The heirs of the deceased approached the IGP Islamabad office and the high ups, according to the official sources, have sought report from SP Rural.

According to the protesters, the graveyard has had around 70 graves which the management forcibly removed from the site. On the other hand, deputy commissioner Islamabad has ordered an inquiry into the incident after complaint of a citizen.

In a separate incident, a Daewoo bus overturned after running over a motorcyclist near Golra Morr.

The deceased who was a security guard at a sensitive installation died on the spot.
