ISLAMABAD (Online)- Round about 814 different Posts from BPS-1 to BPS-19 are lying vacant in Capital Development Authority (CDA). According to the allocated quota, 78 recruitments would be made on merit, 499 from Punjab, 120 from Sindh, 44 from NWFP, 38 from Balochistan, 23 from FATA and 9 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir, sources told this news agency. 65 security Guards, 55 lower divisional clerks, 53 upper divisional clerks, 48 sub engineers, 23 work supervisors, 51fitters and 65 Jaildar could not appointed on vacant Post so far while 7 Posts having Grade-18 and a radiologist having 19 Grade are lying vacant in CDA. Deputy Director Wildlife for wildlife Zoo, Deputy Director West Management, Deputy Director Environment, Education officer and 16 Assistant Directors Civil has also still not been appointed. 29 vacant Posts of BPS-16 and 41 of BPS-14 are also vacant in CDA. Sources told Online, the civic agency is facing mountainous Political Pressure to fill vacant Posts. Chairman CDA to visit housing societies Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA) Tariq Mehmood Khan would undertake visit of housing societies situated in different areas of Islamabad soon. Deputy Director General Housing & Development Planning Ghulam Sarwar Sandhu in an exclusive chat with Online said that the owners of housing societies had been directed to demarcate lands transferred to it for roads, Parks, mosques, sewerage treatment Plants and playgrounds. 5 housing societies in Zone-V and 5 in Zone-II were asked through a letter and advertisement in national dailies to demarcate land but only 5 has ensured implementation, he said. During visit of Chairman CDA to the housing societies, he said, he would pinpoint societies who are violating CDA directives. He made it clear the land would be demarcated and occupied by CDA at its own for the convenience of the allottees of the Plots in these schemes.
