UNITED NATIONS - The UNited Nations on Thursday confirmed that Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon will pay a day-long visit to Pakistan on Feb. 4. UN Spokesperson Marie Okabe told the regular news briefing that the secretary-general, who is currently in Davos, will go to Islamabad via Dubai and meet top Pakistani leaders. She declined to specify the subjects Ban would discuss. Pakistan's request for a U.N. investigation into the assassination of former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto is still under discussion between the world body and the government of Pakistan. From Islamabad, he will flying to New Delhi to attend a conference on Climate Change.
