The Accountability Court on Saturday adjourned the hearing of a reference against Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Secretary-General Jehangir Badar till February 13, a private TV reported. Speaking to media after the hearing at the Accountability Court in Lahore, Badar said PPP leaders have faced the courts in the past and they are prepared to face them in the future. He added that the PPP has always upheld the sanctity of judiciary. The case heard in the Accountability Court was regarding a reference against Badar for misuse of authority in 1997 during his tenure as federal petroleum minister.
