CCP condemns Mozang episode

LAHORE Concerned Citizens Society of Pakistan on Saturday strongly condemned the killings of three Pakistani citizens in Mozang on Friday by a US national. It is also very unfortunate that the US ambassador instead of condemning this brutal act of murder has set motion in an effort to claim diplomatic immunity for this person. We urge the Pakistan government not to succumb to US pressure to release the accused US national. He should be subjected to due process of law. Dr Aafia Siddiqui was sentenced to 86 years in prison for firing at US citizens although no one was killed. CCP urged the government to allow the law to take its full course in this case where three Pakistanis have been killed, so that no powerful state can consider its citizens above the law.
