LAHORE The FIA on Saturday conducted raids in different parts of the provincial capital for arresting Muhammad Asif, another accused in National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam, sources in the agency said. They said Asif was involved in favouring the NICL scam accused by passing positive opinion about the ownership of farmhouse owned by Mohsin Warraich. Additional Director General FIA Zafar Qureshi said the pictures and record of accused Qasim Amin Dada had been sent to the IG Sindh Police and the provincial secretary Home to display the same in all the police stations and public places for the early arrest of the accused. Meanwhile, the FIA has fixed one million rupee as head-money for the accused and a three member team reached Karachi for the arrest of Qasim Amin Dada. The additional DG also sought explanation from the director FIA Karachi about his statement wherein he had claimed the presence of Qasim Amin in the office of DG FIA. He said there was controversy in the statements of the director and asked him to clarify the ambiguity. Ameen Dada is among those who are wanted with regard to National Insurance Company Limited (NICL) scam. Director FIA Sindh Moazzam Jah said that the officials of the FIA Lahore were also with them and they had raided the residences of Dada and his sister. To a question, he replied that there was no record available with the department concerned about Dadas travelling, which suggested that he was in the city.
