LAHORE Saifur Rehman of the Society Public School in Mughalpura has won the Brain of Lahore 2011 inter-school quiz competition arranged by the Punjab Education Foundation at Trust School, Amir Town, Harbans Pura on Saturday. Hafiz Abdullah Ramzan of LDA Model High School for Boys took first position in Computer Science, Mah Noor Khan (Jamil Grammar Girls High School, Ferozpur Road) in Mathematics; Muhammad Arslan Rouf (Government Central Model School, Lower Mall), Junaid Ali (The Quest High School, Shahdara) and Ghazia Nadeem (The Punjab School, Township) in Chemistry; Raza Mehdi (Pride Public High School for Boys), Komal Waris (Kips High School for Girls) and Junaid Ali (Quest High School Shahdara) in Physics; Ghazia Nadeem (The Punjab School, Township) in General Knowledge and Biology and Laila Fatima (Ali Foundation Girls High School, Mughalpura) secured first position in English. On the occasion, chief guest asked the students to emerge as nation-builders and change the destiny of country. The prize-distribution ceremony was addressed by Punjab Education Foundation Chairman Raja Muhammad Anwar, MNA Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and TEDDS CEO Tahir Yousaf.
