ISLAMABAD: Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has to face the loss of Rs. 500 million owing to ongoing four day strike of its employees and this had badly disturbed the administrative affairs of it.
Talking to sources, the spokesperson of PIA said that passengers were feeling that flight operation could be affected therefore they were not purchasing the tickets of airlines.
“The expenditures of PIA were increasing day by day and it has to face loss due to non-confidence of passengers,” the spokesperson added and maintained that travel agents were also advising passengers to buy the tickets of other airlines to avoid any inconvenience.
The spokesperson added that employees have threatened to close the flight operation if their demands were not met therefore passengers expressed their concerns over the prevailing situation.
