KARACHI - The Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi has approved bail in favour of Sheeba Ahmed, who was arrested in connection with deadliest Safoorah carnage for being a facilitator of the terrorist, who killed some 42 members of Ismaili community. The suspect has been directed to deposit guarantee to the tune of Rs200,000 against the bail. The suspect was arrested by the counter terrorism department from the Defence Housing Authority (DHA).

SADDAR POLICE ARREST FOUR ACCUSED: Four accused were arrested and arms as well as snatched mobile phone and motorcycles were recovered from their possession by the Saddar Police here. The accused were identified as Christo alias Phool, Shaan alias Shani, Sharoon alias Shana and M Hassam, informed the police sources on Friday. The police also recovered three pistols, 13 rounds, one revolver, two motorcycles and six mobile phones from accused.

Besides Saddar police station, the accused are also nominated in various other cases registered with Ferere, Defence, Clifton and other police stations in the metropolis.
