DIR - The Upper Dir received three to five millimetre rains and snow fall on the upper parts on Friday which turned the weather chilled and increased difficulties for the inhabitants.

According to Met Office about five to six millimetres rain and snowfall were recorded at the hilly areas.

People in the district complained of the WAPDA official and said whenever there is rain or snow fall, the duration of load shedding were increased from 15 to 20 hours to some of the far-flung areas including upper parts of Kohistan and Barawal. There was no snow fall in the main Dir town till filling of the report but heavy rain was continued from the last night.
