PESHAWAR  - Condemning terrorists’ attack on Bacha Khan University, Charsadda, women activists of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Friday staged a protest demonstration here outside press club.

The protesting women activists led by PAT Women Wing president, Rubina Moeen, Gulshan Irshad, Ayesha Mubashir, and spokesperson Anela Ilyas gathered on main Sher Shah Suri road outside press club.

Amid chanting slogans against the terrorists’ attacks on innocent students, they were carrying placards and banners inscribed with slogans against terrorism and killing of innocent people.

While talking to media persons on the occasion, the protesting women activists deplored the inhuman attack on educational institutions, including Bacha Khan University, Charsadda and Army Public School, Peshawar.

They asked the government to expose the terrorists behind the brutal attacks on educational institutions, and award exemplary punishment to culprits.

They also said that government was not taking appropriate steps to fully implement all the 20 points of the National Action Plan (NAP), due to which incidents of terrorism were reduced across the country.

The government should also make public the faces of those people, given death penalties by the military courts, and should bring them to justice, they said.

They furthermore stressed that the law enforcement agencies should conduct indiscriminate action those insisting people toward terrorism.
