Pakistani cricketers picked in the preliminary squad for the Champions Trophy have cleared their dop tests. The tests were conducted by the Pakistan Cricket Board on 26 players including fast bowler Shoaib Akhtar. According to PCB spokesman, Anti doping agency's dop control officer, Dr. Lubna Sibtain conducted these tests on July 20 in Lahore and the specimen were sent to a Wada's certified laboratory in Malaysia. PCB being hit recently by yet another doping scandal involving one of their premium fast bowlers were keen to conduct these tests prior to the Champions Trophy.
