Indian government has claimed it has a fair amount of intelligence that says the ISI is responsible for the attack on Indian Embassy in Kabul. Indian National Security Advisor M. K. Narayanan has said, "The ISI needs to be destroyed". The accusations are unsubstantiated and the Indians need to be reminded of the role their RAW has played in causing instability in countries like Sri Lanka. Such statements do nothing for confidence building. The Indians should provide proof before resorting to such accusations. -ZULFIKAR SAEED, Islamabad, via e-mail, July 14.
