The Supreme Court of Pakistan Thursday adjourned till tomorrow the hearing of the case regarding the appointment of ad hoc judges in Sindh High Court, report said. A 14-member bench headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry also mulling over the extra-constitutional steps of imposing emergency rule and dismissing more than 60 judges of the apex courts by then President General (r) Pervez Musharraf on November 3, 2007. The CJ has ordered the Attorney Journal to conclude his arguments till tomorrow as the court wants to windup the case. Talking to media outside the court premises, advocate Akram Sheikh said that Musharaff should be punished for his unconstitutional and wrong deeds. The one who committed a crime should be punished at all, Shiekh said. He said that all the ordinances would automatically be terminated if Nov 3 steps proscribed.
