PFF condoles

LAHORE Pakistan Football Federation (PFF)s President Makhdoom Syed Faisal Saleh Hayat, Secretary General Lt.Col (r) Ahmed Yar Khan Lodhi, Women Wing Chairperson Robina Irfan, Director Operation Wng Cmdr (r) Pervaiz Saeed Mir, Director Finance Nadia Naqvi, IFA Prsident Dr. Fazal Ur Rehman, Associate Secretary Zakir Naqvi expressed deep sense of grief and sorrow over the sad demise of female footballer Misha Dawaood during Wednesdays air crash. She was to face Punjab in the 6th National Women Championship on Wednesday evening but her life was too short. All the 152 people on board Air Blue flight were killed including Misha after the aircraft crashed into the Margalla Hills near the capital, Islamabad. The accident occurred as the plane was attempting to land in bad weather. The plane had plummeted into a gorge between two densely wooded hills, more than an hour by foot from the nearest road. Misha had the honor of scoring hat-trick for Karachis Diya Club against Sindh Soccerities in the first National Women Club Championship at Malir two years ago.
