ISLAMABAD - Pakistan U-19 head coach Sabih Azhar was full of praise for his youngsters after they easily disposed off Australia U-19 in the first of three-match Youth ODI series on Sunday.

While talking exclusively with this scribe from Kerrydale Oval, Gold Coast, Australia Sabih Azhar said, the youngsters have adopted to the conditions due to our early arrival that had benefited boys a lot.  The holding of three-match Youth series with Australia just before the start of the World Cup U-19 would definitely provide big boost to Pakistan hopes of lifting the coveted trophy.

Sabih particularly praised Babar Azam and M Nawaz who performed exceptionally well and paved the way for victory. Although Asia Cup U-19 hero Sami Aslam got out cheaply but Imam-ul-Haq and Babar played well and it is very encouraging sign for the team that the boys are not depending on one or two certain individuals but everyone is trying to contribute one way or the other, Sabih added.

Sami would bounce back in style in the next matches and prove to be an asset for the team with his explosive batting, said Sabih. Pakistan will win remaining two matches to seal the series against Australia and the series win will help Pakistan a lot and may become a winning factor for U-19 World Cup victory, Sabih concluded.
