With Marvel Comics dishing out box office hits more than ever lately, Hollywood heavyweights are being sought out for roles in the ever-expanding franchise adaptations. Exemplifying that with a missed opportunity, Alec Baldwin was a guest on the Howard Stern Show last week when he was asked why no one has offered him a villain role in a superhero movie. “I have, but I won’t mention which one,” Baldwin revealed. “I don’t want to undo somebody because they hired someone else to do it. But they asked me to play a villain in one of these Marvel Comics movies,” he reiterated. As to why he turned down the role, the 55-year-old actor said, “I wasn’t available, they wanted me to work a certain time.
