A seminar took place at Rural Health Centre Lalamusa with the aim to create anti-dengue awareness amongst the masses, here the other day. Lalamusa Trauma Centre, In-charge, Dr Mirza Ashraf, Former Nazim Ch Irfan Ahmed Safi, President Patient welfare society Arshad Al-Noor and others delivered speeches on anti-dengue virus campaign. Doctors educated the audiences that dengue virus spreads through female mosquito which breeds upon fresh water and is mostly active during morning and evening. They highlighted symptoms and warned not to use disprin tablets. However, paracetamol can provide instant relief in dengue fever. Doctors advised people to contact RHC immediately. Trauma Centre staff, RHC Staff and a large number of people from different walks of live attended the seminar.
Later, a walk organized by the TMA for creating anti-dengue awareness. The walk was led by PML-N MPA Chaudhry Muhammad Ashraf Devna. The walk started from Municipal Committee Lalamusa. Participants were holding placards and passed through Municipal Committee Road, Service Road and reached at Sasta Ramazan Bazaar where MPA Ch Ashraf Devena addressed the gathering.
 He said that the government of Punjab had been working to overcome dengue. Chief Officer Wajahat Hussain Siddique said that we should keep our houses clean so that we can eradicate dengue and save hundreds of lives.
