ISLAMABAD : The mobile phone imports decreased by 10.8pc during fiscal year 2012-13 over the same period of last year. The imports of mobile phone into the country during July-June (2012-13) were recorded at $613.858m against the imports of $688.173m during July-June (2011-12), according to the data of PBS. Similarly the mobile phone imports into the country during the month of June 2013 increased by 22.11pc and 117.81pc when compared to the imports in June 2012 and May 2013 respectively.
The mobile phone imports during February 2013 stood at $68.594 million against the imports of $56.174 million in June 2012 and $31.492 million in May 2013, the data revealed.
