A village in North Yorkshire has been taken over by scarecrows to mark the start of a traditional festival.
The Muston Scarecrow Festival attracts thousands of visitors each year after starting out as a low-key affair in 1999, reports BBC News.
The event in Muston near Filey sees residents make scarecrows, which are then placed around the picturesque village.
