Six FC men die in accident

PESHAWAR - At least six Frontier Corps (FC) personnel died on Monday when their vehicle plunged into a ditch near Gomal Zam Dam in district Tank.
Official sources said a vehicle of the FC was on way from Wana, South Waziristan, to district Tank. While taking a turn near Gomal Zam Dam, the vehicle skidded and plunged into ravine, killing six FC personnel on board.
The personnel's bodies were later retrieved from the site of incident and shifted to FC Fort Murtuza.
The cause of the incident was not ascertained till filing of this report.
According to the official report, an FC vehicle was coming from Wana to Tank when it turned turtle near the dam. The six personnel on the vehicle were reportedly killed in the accident.
