KARACHI - The Sindh government has directed the law enforcement agencies to take strict security measures during last ten days of Ramazan starting from today.

Provincial Chief Secretary Muhammad Ejaz Chaudhry in his instruction to the Additional Chief Secretary Home and IG Police has emphasised upon chalking out a strict and comprehensive security plan to ensure law and order across Sindh especially in Karachi.

He noted that sanctity of Ramazan-ul-Mubarak calls fool proof security measures; thus the law enforcing agencies must enhance vigilance and acute monitoring of the areas.

Chaudhry also called upon the Commissioner and Deputy Commissioners to cooperate and coordinate with the Home Department and Sindh Police, paying their vital role to maintain law and order situation.

The chief secretary also asked the Secretary Local Government and administrators of all municipal institutions to ensure cleanliness and sanitation throughout the province  and provision of basic facilities including potable water.
