LAHORE: While condemning the extra-judicial killing of Lashkar-e-Jhangvi leader Malik Ishaq and his accomplices, a senior leader of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jammat (ASWJ) has said that they will not come on roads to protest the killing.
The ASWJ senior leader on the condition of anonymity told that their party was a peaceful organisation and did not accept any individual who has links with militant outfits.
“Though, we condemn the extra-judicial killing of Ishaq and his accomplices, we will not protest the murder,” he said.
When reminded that the police have arrested ASWJ Provincial President Haji Rafeq Mangal and 16 other activists in Quetta for their protest over the killing, he said that the protesters may have come on the road on their own as the party has not given a protest call.
