LAHORE   - Ameer Uddin Medical College and LGH Principal Prof Dr Mohammad Tayyab has said that young doctors are asset of the country and the nation and they must be given maximum facilities.

Keeping in view the latest medical research treatment level should keep improving and every doctor can play his role in this regard, Dr Tayyab expressed these views while talking to a delegation of Young Doctors Association, Lahore General Hospital chapter.

Dr Rana Asif Saghir, Dr Ammar Yousaf, Dr Azhar Alam, Dr Farooq Bajwa and other office bearers were also present at the meeting. All the participants in the meeting welcomed Dr Tayyab’s appointment as principal of the Ameer Uddin Medical College and presented him a bouquet on taking charge as head of the Lahore General Hospital. Young doctors also briefed the principal about issues of doctors’ hostel, security and parking at the General Hospital and gave a number of suggestions. They also assured the principal of their full cooperation in keeping the patient friendly atmosphere in the hospital and said that best medical services would be provided to each person coming in the hospital.

Dr Tayyab said that his top most priority is to extend best possible medical facilities to patients and solve problems facing doctors and paramedics. He said that merit and performance would be the only criteria as long as he is working as principal of the institution and it would be ensured that proper monitoring is being made of everyone. He assured young doctors of his all out cooperation.
