Balochistan uplift govt’s top priority: Fawad 

ISLAMABAD - Minister for Informa­tion and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has said that so­cio-economic development of Ba­lochistan is one of the top priori­ties of the government. 

Talking to Governor Baloch­istan Syed Zahoor Ahmed Agha here on Thursday, the minister said the PTI govern­ment has provided the biggest ever development package to Balochistan. He regretted that no one in the past paid atten­tion to the development of this province. 

He said the development package announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan will help eliminate the sense of depriva­tion lingering on in the region for the past 70 years. 

He said Balochistan will bene­fit the most from the CPEC, and the development projects be­ing carried out in Balochistan will really prove to be a gamer changer for the province. 

Speaking on the occasion, the Governor Balochistan said the federal government’s efforts to remove deprivation of Baloch­istan are commendable. 

He said he would continue to play his role for better coordi­nation between the federal gov­ernment and the provincial government, and this will bene­fit the people of Balochistan.
