Statements given, after the Model Town incident, by our politicians have raised questions on the maturity of our politicians. Our political leaders come from an uneducated feudal system, which does not give them the space to groom themselves, but they should remember that they have been elected by their people to represent them. They should follow certain values and have a code of conduct. They should realize that that the world is watching them, and the younger generation is watching and learning from them. Statements that they make reflect their decisions, actions and policies. They should treat members of the opposition with respect so that they can expect the same from them. Sometimes the tone of voice can be very annoying, making their well-wishers feel bad about supporting them. I would like to request our politicians to be more responsible and use better language.
