RAWALPINDI (Online)- The illegal practices of aerial firing, one wheeling, kite flying and fireworks are in swing despite ban which shows the performance of police personals in the city especially fireworks in front of the wedding halls which cause inconvenience to the residents of the adjacent areas and the late night aerial firing causes panic and fear among the residents. Residents of the city while talking to this agency here on Sunday urged the government to ensure its ban on these illegal steps. According to details, the government has issued strict instructions for stopping kite flying, one wheeling, aerial firing and fireworks and also directed the concerned police officials to take solid steps for stopping the illegal steps. The Rawalpindi police officials have directed the SHOs to take strict action against the acts in their respective areas but the ban is being violated openly in city and Cantt areas. Two persons including a child had been killed and dozen others injured during one wheeling and kite flying over the past one week and children were seen kite flying and shopkeepers selling fireworks.
