Gul's son attacked

RAWALPINDI Abdullah Gul, son of ex-ISI Chief Gen (R) Hamid Gul, was injured in an attack by a man named Wajid Ali son of Safdar Ali resident of Dheri Hasanabdal. The incident took place Monday evening at about 4:30 pm. According to details, Abdullah Gul was driving his car when he was on his way to Lal Kurti when his car collided with another car (Honda VTI- 6999) driven by Wajid. An argument followed and in the heat of that argument, Wajid took out his gun and hit Abdulla in the face. Abdullah received sever bruises on the face. He was rushed to the Benazir Bhutto Hospital where his condition is stated to be out of danger. According to the Chief Medical Officer Dr Zia, Abdullah has received bruise on the right side of his face. Meanwhile, police arrested Wajid Ali and registered an FIR against him.
