The print media has widely reported a case of gang rape inflicted allegedly by five policemen of Mohafiz Force of Sheikhupura on a hapless girl returning home from tuition. The accused policemen should be made an example of by giving them maximum punishment for the horrendous crime committed by them i.e. death penalty. The so-called “Mohafiz” force has disgraced itself that could have also resulted in the death by suicide of the victim which was prevented by her parents.
The police force meant to protect the people ought to be trained for the job to protect the life, property and honour of people. It is revolting to even hear such news where our special units of police behave worse than animals and the officers training such elite units ought to hang their heads in shame to have failed to impart proper moral training to such policemen that are a disgrace to the entire police force.
