Los Angeles (BTG): Television presenter Katie Piper has thanked fans for their support after she was admitted to hospital following complications from surgery linked to the acid attack she suffered. Piper, who was was badly scarred and left blind in one eye in an assault arranged by her ex-boyfriend, Daniel Lynch, in 2008, told the Mirror she had lost a stone after the surgery to remove scar tissue from her throat resulted in a painful torn oesophagus.
She posted a message on Twitter today saying: ‘Thanks for all your kind messages, I am back in hospital unfortunately.’
