LAHORE - An unbeaten knock of 113 by skipper Fahadul Haq guided Prince Club to a six-wicket victory over Young Prince Club in a match to mark the opening of the 1st Nasir Mahmood Butt Memorial Cricket Tournament here at the LCCA ground on Tuesday. The tournament was formally inaugurated by former LCCA secretary Mian Javed Ali and Dr Yasir Bashir Butt, son of late Nasir Butt. Young Prince Club, batting first, posted 185-5 on the board in 18 overs with Ammar Tariq hammered unbeaten 63. Arif contributed 46 and Hasnain Shah 39 runs in the Young Prince Club’s total. Off-spinner Wajahat claimed two wickets for 46 runs. Fahadul Haq played sparkling unbeaten knock of 113 runs to bring Prince Club home safely. His swashbuckling innings included 14 fours and five sixes. Sadamul Haq contributed 36 followed by Tariq Bashir 13. Right-arm leg spinner Zeeshan Azhar picked up 2-22.
