KARACHI - A local investor committed suicide after suffering financial losses due to a crash in the Karachi Stock Market. Deceased Abid Memon, 48, a resident of Garden East, was dejected after suffering huge losses resulting from a crash in the Karachi Stock Market and refusal of financial help from his wife for further investment. Memon, who was running a general store at Diamond Building, Patel Para, received severe shock when he came to know that benchmark index of the KSE had lost more than 500 points in the first session of its trading on Thursday. SHO Jamshed Quarters Police Station Fawad Akh-wan said that Memon had invested handsome amount in KSE but lost his fortunes during the recent crisis for which his family held him responsible. Resul-tantly, he shot himself dead. Political woes bring stocks to 13-month low.
