LAHORE - The Punjab Squash Association is organising a summer training camp for boys and girls, under the age groups U-11, U-13, U-15, U-17, U-19 from June 30 to August 9. Lt Col (Retd) Muhammad Rafiq Shahid, secretary PSA, informed that all the keen and interested students who would like to join this camp are welcome. There will be no charges for the training. Participants will, however, be required to bring their own kits. Coaching will be provided by coaches of international repute and standards under the expert guidance of Abdul Rasheed, Senior Coach of Punjab Squash Association. Another note of interest to students and parents is that many educational institutions in the United States of America, Canada, Australia and United Kingdom offer sports scholarships. Squash is one of the games which features high on their scholarship program for boys and girls alike. The PSA under the dynamic leadership of its President Lt Gen Zarrar Azim (Retd) have taken upon themselves the responsibility to revive the game of squash to its former glory. Huge investments are being made to impart quality training. Registration for those who wants to participate will remain open till June 25.
