Bomb blast at Wapda grid station

PESHAWAR (APP) - A bomb blast at Wapda Grid Station in Dera Ismail Khan on Saturday partially damaged the outer wall of the station and no casualty was reported. According to police, some unknown miscreants attempted to blow up D.I Khan electricity grid station at Sheikh Yousaf Road. The miscreants planted around five kilogram explosive near the gate of the station as a result of which the outer wall was damaged. Soon after the explosion, DPD D.I Khan along with other police officials reached to the spot and closed the Sheikh Yousaf Road for vehicular traffic. Police informed that security has been beefed up in the D.I Khan after the grid station blast and deputation of police force is enhanced to ensure peace and safety of people.
