The Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC), Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, has said that Indian troops are carrying out genocide of Kashmiris in fake encounters to justify military concentration in occupied Kashmir and dupe the international community. According to Kashmir Media Service, the APHC Chairman, in a statement issued in Srinagar, denounced the killing of three innocent Kashmiris on April 30 in a fake encounter at Machil in Kupwara by the troops. "The incident proved that the troopers in the occupied territory can go to any extent for promotions, rewards and medals," he added. The Mirwaiz, who continues to remain under house arrest, said that the APHC would soon launch a sustained political and diplomatic campaign at all levels to make the world aware of the massacres perpetrated by the occupation troops.
