QUETTA - A driver of a NGO sustained serious injuries in a firing incident in Khuzdar district, some 360 km southeast of Quetta on Tuesday.According to police, a vehicle of Balochistan Ruler Support Programme (BRSP) was heading towards Khuzdar city from Wadh. As it reached Kakaheer area unidentified armed men opened indiscriminate firing on it with sophisticated weapons.As a result, the driver of vehicle identified as Amanullah received serious injuries.The assailants escaped from the scene after committing the crime. Police rushed to the site after the incident while the injured was taken to Civil Hospital Khuzdar for medical aid.Hospital sources said that injured had received bullet in head and his condition is serious.Police has registered a case into the incident and started investigations, however, no arrest has been made in this connection so far.
