Political bigwigs join BNAP

AHMEDPUR EAST - Former nazim Sahibzada Faizur Rasheed Abbasi, grandson of Late Ameer of Bahawalpur and Gopang tribe head Sardar Mohammad Aslam joined Bahawalpur National Awami Party. Both Sahibzada Faizur Rasheed Abbasi and Sardar Aslam Khan Gopang called on Bahawalpur National Awami Party Chief Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi at his residence Sadiq Garh Palace Dera Nawab Sahib separately and made the announcements. Sahibzada Faizur Rasheed Abbasi told newsmen that he was not aspirant for any office in the party and joined it unconditionally to materialise the dream of restoration of provincial status of Bahawalpur.
He expressed his confidence in the leadership of Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi. It is to be noted that earlier Faizur Rasheed Abbasi was opponent of Nawab Abbasi.
On the other hand, Rahim Yar Khan famous Gopang tribe leader Sardar Mohammad Aslam Gopang stated that he had joined BNAP along with his brothers, sons and grandsons.
Meanwhile PML-Q leader Khalid Mehmood Warran, PPP MPA from PP-270 Shah Rukh Malik, PPP Bahawalpur President Sardar Malik Aamar Yar Warran, former PPP MNA Makhdoom Amaduddin Hashmi and a delegation from NA-187 Yezman comprising former UC Nazimeen and PML-N leaders including Chaudhry Iqbal Golab, Chaudhry Malkiyat, Chaudhry Javed, Chaudhry Khalid and others also held meetings with Nawab Salahuddin Abbasi.
 On the occasion, the BNAP chief told these delegations that only way to get the inhabitants of Bahawalpur region rid of the sense of deprivation was to restore Bahawalpur province. He said that 12.5 million Bahawalpuries demanded the restoration of Bahawalpur province on its historical, constitutional and legal foundations.
