No road safety

In a country where there are no laws, speed limit, zebra crossing and traffic signals have all lost their importance. Crossing a road has become life threatening with no action being taken by anyone. The concept of zebra crossing was to provide the pedestrians with a safe crossing on busy roads, but the people who owe expensive cars and have drivers, or drive themselves don’t seem to be aware of this law. When a pedestrian steps on the zebra crossing, the car has to stop to let them pass. This nation which has taken westernism to heart does not believe in it, when it comes to following rules and regulations. If I can afford to buy an expensive car, then the road is mine!
The Motorway Traffic Police is implementing laws on the motorway, so why is it so difficult to do the same in cities. There should be speed limits in crowded areas, as well as residential areas. The City Government should also install pedestrian lights on the signals whereas the faded stripes on the roads should also be painted again to revive this tradition as well as CCTV cameras should be installed to catch culprits who break speeding laws.
