Cash, gold robbed in six strikes

OUR STAFF REPORTER OKARA - Armed bandits snatched hundreds of thousands of rupees, gold ornaments and other valuables in six incidents of dacoity and robbery here. The first incident took place near 28/D Okara. Naeem Haider, a resident of Taj Colony Depalpur, with his wife was riding his bike. Suddenly, two armed bandits intercepted them and looted Rs 12,000 and gold ornaments worth Rs 2,70,000 and made off. The second incident took place at the house of Sajjad Siddique in Aziz Town of Renala Khurd. Three women looted gold ornaments worth Rs 2,35,000. Likewise at Dhari Mushtaq Ahmad in 33/4.L, 12 armed dacoits tied security persons with ropes. They took away 21 buffaloes worth Rs 2.2 million and weapons. Similarly, in village Shaam Din, one Muddasir Shehzad was riding a bike (4960/OKL) when 3 armed bandits intercepted him. They snatched his bike, cash and mobile from him and fled. The fifth incident took place in the house of one Muhammad Yaar, a resident of Haveli Lakha. Five dacoits locked the family members in a room and looted cash and mobile phones. In village Akbar, 12 armed dacoits barged into a house and opened fire for offering resistance and injured two brothers. The robbers attacked the house of Mohammad Shafi in Abadi Rodkiyan Akbar. The robbers looted gold ornaments worth thousands of rupees, arms and mobiles. On resistance, they opened fire and injured two brothers Umer Draz and Mohammad Usman. 2 WOMEN ABDUCTED: From two different areas of Okara, two married women were abducted. Accused Riaz and Shakeel lifted Muhammad Tufails wife Shabina from the village Tahir Kalan Okara. The other incident took place in village Kucha Pucca. Shaams wife Naseem was kidnapped allegedly by Ghulam Ali, Ahmad Raza and Aslam etc.
