OUR STAFF REPORTER SARGODHA - Police busted a notorious gang and recovered looted valuables from it in the outskirts of Miani area here on Tuesday. According to sources, repeated robbery complaints were being received from residents of Bhalwal tehsil. DPO Muhammad Rizwan constituted a team under the supervision of SHO Muhammad Siddique to address the grievances of residents of Bhalwal tehsil. The team first arrested the ringleader of a gang, namely Nauman Miana alias Manoo, a resident of Wadhan. Later, on Manoos pointation, his accomplices Akhtar Ali, Khurram Shahzad, Anwar Miana alias Anno, Qamar alias Qamroo and Sarfraz were apprehended. Looted valuables, including 10 motorcycles, nine mobilephones and cash Rs 6,55,980, were recovered from them. A kalashnikov, a 44-bore rifle, a 12-bore gun and four 30-bore pistols were also seized.
