Germany has urged Pakistan to rethink its decision of not attending Bonn Conference in Germany next week as it would prove productive in Islamabads presence. Germany says it was not officially informed about the decision by Pakistan. German Chancellor Angela Merkel on Wednesday called Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani and urged him to rethink the decision. She said Pakistan could ask its ambassador to Germany to attend the moot on Afghanistans future scheduled to be held next week. Gilani told German leader that Pakistan could not attend the moot in the given circumstances and the final decision would be taken by the Parliamentary Committee on the National Security.
