ISLAMABAD - ZTBL edged out Railways 3-2 while HEC overcame a strong Makkah Flour Mills challenge to register a narrow 2-1 victory in the second division Pakistan Football League at Jinnah Stadium here on Tuesday. In the first match played between ZTBL and Railways, ZTBL were cursing at one stage and were leading 3-0 before Railways stage a remarkable comeback and were so close to level the match but had to settle for a 2-3 defeat. Izhar Ullah scored a brace for ZTBL in the 23rd and 50th minutes while Hikmat Ullah scored one in the 27th minute. Asif Hamid scored both goals for the losers in the 68th and 84th minutes. In the second match HEC down Makkah Flour Mills 2-1 in a nail biting match. Makkah Flour Mills took the lead through striker Sibtain Abbas in the 31st minute. HEC came out from the shock opener and got equaliser in the 41st minute through Nauman Shahid. Rashid Masih doubled the HEC lead in the 55th minute and the match ended with same score in the favour of HEC.
