Broken fence posing life threats to residents

RAWALPINDI - The broken fence of the central bridge over the nullah at Khayaban-e-Miran Bakhsh, Nai Abadi, Tench Bhatta, is posing threat to life of residents.  “Our area is located close to posh area of Harley Street. The fence of the lonely bridge built on the entry point to the area from the Dhamial Road was broken a week ago and is now lying in the drain.
This way, the bridge over the drain has been rendered insecure for pedestrians and vehicles,” said a group of residents of Tench Bhata Abadi No 3.
“Our children go to other side of the drain daily for studies, but the broken fence has made this distance unsafe. So, a fear continues to haunt us until our kids return home,” said a group of mothers.
“We have to cross the nullah to move to our offices daily on our vehicles, but crossing the span over the nullah has become hazardous for us as its broken fence continues to scare use,” said a group of car owners.
