Call Centre for 15 Madadgar

 
KARACHI  - The Centralised Call Centre Management System and Supporting Services have been successfully deployed by Information Technology Department, Government of Sindh, in coordination with Police Department under the Project of Introduction of E-Policing in the province.This was stated by Sindh Minister for Information Technology, Muhammad Raza Haroon, while reviewing the progress of development projects of IT Department at his office here on Thursday.Under the project, Vehicle Tracking System have been installed into more than 100 emergency response vehicles so far provided by the Police Department. This process is being continued as per availability of the vehicles, the Minister IT added. The Madadgar 15 Call Centre has been fully operative and functional since January 13, 2011 and the Madadgar 15 staff of the Police Department is fully trained and attending emergency live call 24/7 on the new established system.Police Department has already take over the administrative and operational control of the Madadgar 15 Call Centre for last 11 months, the minister concluded.
