LAHORE – Thousands of non-locals reached the City on Monday after celebrating Eidul Azha in their hometowns and their arrival will continue during the week.

Those who reached Lahore included government employees, factory workers and people belong to nearby cities of Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Kasur, Narowal, Gujrat and Sialkot. The arrival of businessmen and labourers will continue throughout the week.

The transporters, as usual, charged high fares from the passengers amid the absence of transport authorities. They continued to charge high fares despite the huge decrease in CNG prices.
