RAWALPINDI - Unidentified robbers swaged some 150 laptops worth thousands of rupees from a shop while a man was murdered on a petty issue in the limits of Police Station (PS) Sadiqabad here on Monday.According to details, the first incident took place at 10am when unknown robbers smashed the locks of a computer shop, located at Dubai Plaza, and made off with 150 laptops worth in thousands of rupees.After receiving information, the area police rushed to the site and started interrogation. Station House Officer (SHO) PS Sadiqabad Syed Tahir Kazmi, when contacted, confirmed the robbery incident. However, he said that he was not satisfied with the claim of the owner of the shop of stealing 150 laptops by the robbers. He said that he had asked the owner to provide the police the invoices of the laptops so that the interrogation could be started in right direction.In the other incident, a man allegedly murdered his neighbour on a petty issue at Kuri Road. According to SHO PS Sadiqabad, a brawl occurred between two neighbours Rashid Shah and Haji Tahir couple of days before over some issue but later resolved. However, on Monday both of them again fought over turning back the car and Tahir shot Rashid dead. The killer run away after committing the crime, said the SHO adding that the police later moved the dead body to the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for autopsy.Till the filing of the report, police have not filed any case and were probing into the both incidents.
